Your files
When you use a tool, your browser reads the file from your device and the result is created on your device. Files, their contents and their names are never sent to our servers or to anyone else. No other code on the page, such as analytics or ads, is given your files or their names.
What is loaded from other servers
Video tools download the FFmpeg engine from the jsDelivr content delivery network the first time you use them. Like any web request, this shares your IP address and browser details with jsDelivr. It does not include your files.
Usage data
We don't use analytics at the moment.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
Ads
Tuul is set up to show ads from Google AdSense, but no ads are shown at the moment. When they are, this is what it means for you:
- Google and its partners may use cookies, or similar technology, to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, to limit how often you see the same ad, and to measure ads and prevent fraud. Google explains how it uses information from sites that show its ads at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message, shown by the AdSense code, asks you first. Ads are personalised only if you agree; if you don't, you may still see ads that aren't based on your browsing.
- You can turn off personalised ads from Google, or change what they're based on, in Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
- The ad code is never given your files or their names.
Cookies
Tuul's own code sets no cookies and doesn't store anything about you in your browser. Any ad cookies are Google's and its partners', as described above.
Your rights
Apart from the hosting provider's logs and what Google's ad code collects, we have no data about you to look up, correct or delete. If you have a question or a request about your data, write to us and we'll help.
