WebP to PNG: questions
How do I convert WebP to PNG?
Convert them in your browser, so nothing is uploaded. On tuul.io/webp-to-png/ you add your WebP images and download the PNG files, one by one or all as a ZIP.
What is the difference between WebP and PNG?
WebP is Google's web image format. Websites use it because files are small, but many apps, older editors and upload forms still don't accept it. PNG is lossless and supports transparency, which makes it ideal for graphics and screenshots, but photos saved as PNG are large.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, so your images never leave your device.
Is there a limit on how many images I can convert?
No. Everything runs on your device, so the only limit is your device's memory. Hundreds of images at once is fine on a computer.
